Founded in 1988 in Berlin, Germany, the company is committed to expand the adoption of solar and support the growth of the solar industry by developing powerful, yet easy-to-use, software tools for solar professionals. The company’s software is used by customers in over 70 countries throughout the world for the development of residential, commercial and utility scale projects.

Valentin Software has two main business areas – one, the development and distribution of standard packaged software programs for the design of photovoltaic (PV*SOL) and solar thermal (T*SOL) systems. The other business area is the development of customized software solutions for solar equipment manufacturers, distributors, project developers, large installers, educational institutions and government agencies.
