Change of Leadership at Valentin Software

Nicola Rosenkranz has taken over the position of Managing Director at Valentin Software, replacing Steffen Lindemann, who is leaving the company on March 31, 2022.

Valentin Software has been a successful provider of design and simulation software in the international renewable energy market for more than 30 years. With its software products for simulating, designing, forecasting and calculating the profitability of photovoltaic, solar thermal and heat pump systems, the company is one of the leading providers in the industry.

After more than 16 years at Valentin Software, including 7 years as Managing Director, Steffen Lindemann decided to leave the company to take a new path. Under his leadership, Valentin Software has grown continuously over the past few years and is therefore well positioned today. "I would like to face new challenges in the solar industry and I am convinced that now is the right time for me. Valentin Software will continue to stably accompany the path of regenerative energies into the future,” Steffen Lindemann comments on the change. Dr. Gerhard Valentin, founder and main shareholder of the company, expressed his gratitude to the exiting Managing Director: "The achievements of Steffen Lindemann deserve my fullest recognition and my special thanks. I wish him all the best for the future.”

To succeed Steffen Lindemann, the company was able to recruit a very experienced manager who is ideally suited to the tasks ahead. Nicola Rosenkranz has worked in international business development functions for more than 20 years, including 11 years in the renewable energy industry with a focus on photovoltaics. She is an experienced program and project manager, with a holistic skillset, and brings classic as well as agile management methods to Valentin Software. "Nicola Rosenkranz is an excellent choice to continue to advance Valentin Software in the future," as Dr. Gerhard Valentin underlines. “I am very much looking forward to a good and successful cooperation.”
