PV*SOL premium 2025 now offers an interface to the PV-Configurator planning tool from mounting system manufacturer Renusol. This streamlines your workflow and helps you avoid duplicate steps. The project report from the Renusol PV-Configurator is also transferred directly to PV*SOL premium – including structural calculations, assembly plans, and a parts list.
Here’s how it works: First, create the roof, the blocking areas and the shading objects in PV*SOL premium. Next, you export the roof area together with the preselected PV module as a file and transfer it to the Renusol PV-Configurator. There, you determine the optimal mounting system and place the PV modules. After importing this configuration back into your PV*SOL project, the PV system can be simulated there as usual.
You can find a detailed step-by-step guide to using the new interface on our help pages.
Good to know: The mounting system interface in PV*SOL premium is designed to be manufacturer-independent and can be extended to include further manufacturers. An interface to the K2 Base planning tool from K2 Systems has been available since 2023.
You can find an overview of all the new PV*SOL premium features in our release notes.
